Black Civil War Veteran Alford Samuels

Alford Samuels, a black Civil War veteran, is buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Everett, Washington. On Saturday, September 10, there will be a Civil War Ceremony to honor him and other veterans buried there.

The organizers are hoping to find descendants of Alford Samuels still living in the Pacific Northwest so they may be notified of the event. If you have any information, or know of anyone who might have information in this regard, please contact me.
