Challenges for Black America

William Schroder — bill(at)cousinsofcolor.com

Hi all,

Speaking as a white American, I believe the number one priority for all peoples in our society continues to be education. As our nation steadily falls behind other developed countries in terms of educational quality and achievement, it is imperative we look at the advancements our minority citizens have made in business, government, art and science and re-double our efforts to insure educational opportunity for all our youth - particularly inner-city populations.

In the absence of governmental support for education, we should seek out strong leaders with loud voices to convey the message. The future of our nation rests squarely on the shoulders of our children. We can guide them to a richer, fuller life by making their education our top priority.

Regards - Bill
